Erikka shows off her writing chops with a raw rap performance, then delivers sweet melodies and colorful harmonies, sonically expressing this tune's contradictory nature - angry and slightly aggressive while openly sharing a reflective moment of weakness and pain. Although written from a woman's perspective, many of the lyrics, including the anthemic chorus, are gender neutral enough to relate to anyone that has suffered from broken expectations in matters of the heart.
